ARSAD 2027

Co-creating the future of audio description. Academia, industry and society in technology-mediated worlds

ARSAD will take place on 7-9 April 2027 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Notification of acceptance or rejection has been sent. Registration is now open and the programme will be published in November.

The conference will be in English. Speakers and chairs will be instructed to integrate a description of the visuals in their presentations and talks.

Important deadlines:

• End of early bird registration: 27 November 2026.
• End of standard registration: 15 March 2027.
• Conference: 7-9 April 2027.
