CORA (Coordinadora de Asociaciones de Adopción y Acogimiento) is a Spanish national institution made up of 20 adoption and foster care associations. This Federation has 20 years of experience. The most important mission of CORA is to defend the rights of foster and adopted children, and their families. To do this, it strives to make its realities visible and liaises with government bodies to promote changes in different areas of their lives.
Ana Mª Linares has been an active member of Caminantes, an association belonging to CORA since 2015, and she is the spokesperson within the federation. Since then she has participated in different assemblies and is a member of the CORA National Adoption and Foster Commission. In addition, she has a degree in Psychology and has professional experience in post-adoption services.
Águeda Ruibal is a pre-primary and primary teacher. She is working since 1995 in a public school. She became a member of Manaia in 2006, an association which is part of CORA. She has participated in different courses and seminars for teachers and families, lecturing on adoption and foster care in the last 8 years, as part of Manaia’s Education Team and Cora’s Education Commission.
Chus Vázquez is a primary teacher. She is working since 2000 in a public school. In 2006 she became a member of Manaia, a Galician association that is part of CORA. She has participated in different courses and seminars for teachers and families, lecturing on adoption and foster care in the last 8 years, as part of Manaia´s Education Team.
