1. What was the aim of the Event 3?

Event 3 took place on 13 February 2020.

The event was in Hildesheim, Germany.

The University of Hildesheim organised it.

 

The aim of the event was to present the EASIT skills cards

and also the EASIT curricula.

 

86 participants attended the event.

 

2. What did we do in the event?

There was a poster presentation

and also 12 presentations:

  • Christiane Maaß and Sergio Hernández Garrido started the event.
  • Irene Pieper welcomed all the participants.
  • Christiane Maaß and Sergio Hernández Garrido presented a summary of the EASIT project.
  • Jesús Meiriño presented the EASIT skills cards.
  • Christiane Maaß and Sergio Hernández Garrido presented the EASIT curricula.
  • Alea Stephan talked about working with end users to create content in easy-to-understand language.
  • Leealaura Leskelä discussed the use of easy-to-understand language in Finland.
  • The research group “Simply complex – Easy Language” presented their research projects.
  • Xavier Moonen talked about easy-to-understand language in the Netherlands.
  • Susanne Jekat presented the new programme in accessible communication at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
  • Hovárth Péter László and Sallai Illona presented the work with end users in Budapest.
  • Ulla Vanhatalo and Tiina Onikki-Rantajääskö talked about research and training in easy-to-understand language in Finland.
  • Christiane Maaß and Sergio Hernández Garrido closed the event.

The event was interpreted into German.
