Francisca de la Maza

Francisca de la Maza is PhD and Master in Social Anthropology Research Center and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS), Mexico. She completed his degree and professional title of anthropologist at the University of Chile. Since 1999 works at the Villarrica Campus of the Catholic University of Chile. She was Deputy Director of Research between 2006 and January 2013. She has conducted several research projects with internal funds of the university as well Fondecyt in the areas of: public policy, interculturality, ethnography of the state, education, rurality and local development, with which has various publications. She is currently Deputy Director and Principal Investigator of the Interdisciplinary Center for Intercultural Studies and Indigenous funded FONDAP -CONICYT (2012-2017).
