Daniel Ozarow

Dr Daniel Ozarow is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Leadership, Work and Organisation at Middlesex University Business School. He was also awarded his PhD on middle-class resistance to pauperisation in Argentina since the 2001 economic crisis from the same institution. He is Convenor of the Argentina Research Network UK and Chair of Jubilee Debt Campaign’s Academic Advisory Network. His current research interests include assessing the impact of both personal and national indebtedness on the deterioration of living standards and working life, impoverished middle-class citizen responses to downward social mobility in Latin America and Europe (including labour market, entrepreneurial, consumer and psychological coping strategies as well as collective self-help and protest actions), and comparative industrial and social policies in the two regions. His recent academic journal articles have appeared in Latin American Research Review, Sociology, Labor History, Human Resource Management International Digest and Economy and Society. He has also recently published two books as co-editor; Argentina since the 2001 Crisis: Recovering the Past, Reclaiming the Future (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and De la Crisis de 2001 al Kirchnerismo: Cambios y Continuidades (Prometeo Libros, 2016).
