Alvaro Gascue

Alvaro Gascue is Magister in Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of the Republic; Degree in Sociology, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, University of the Republic; and PhD candidate in Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of the Republic.

Currently he works as Associate professor at Faculty of Information and Communication of the University of the Republic; and as Co-responsible of the Research Group: Information and reading skills: tools for the access to the Information and Knowledge Society (PRODIC, FIC, UDELAR) (Alfainfo 881313, register Sectoral Commission for Scientific Research of the UDELAR).

His themes of Interest are: Information Literacy, Digital Social Communication, Social Mobility, ICT in Education.
