List of statistics from which microdata files can be obtained. The microdata files contain the individual data of a statistic, suitably anonymised, in order to preserve the confidentiality of the information. These are ASCII files with field structure that collect for each individual survey record the values that each variable takes. The data appear without adding, reason why for the study of the same they are necessary programs for the treatment of statistical data.
INE is not responsible for the results that users obtain from these files based on their own calculations. In addition, any person who uses microdata files undertakes to cite, in any publication obtained from them, the INE as a source of primary data (source: INE, www.ine.es), as well as the degree of accuracy or reliability Of the information derived by the authors, is the sole responsibility of the authors.

Since January 2009, the Data Bank offers the download of microdata files of the research studies performed by the Centre in recent years, free of charge. We are working so that all the studies are available for free download in the near future.
Data files, in ASCII format (flat format, TXT or DAT), can be downloaded from the CIS website as well as the syntax files of the SPSS and/or SAS statistical packages, the questionnaire, the datasheet, the Codebook and cards, through the address:
http://www.cis.es/cis/opencms/CA/2_bancodatos/ | Survey Catalogue
Instructions for importing and analyzing the CIS files in SPSS:
Once the zip file has been downloaded and unzipped, one of the files is called “DAnºestudio” and contains the data in a raw file, type txt, which can be viewed with the “notepad”, if desired, but it is not What is relevant.
The file named “ESntudy” corresponds to the SPSS syntax file. You can change your name “ESnºestudio” to “ESnºestudio.sps”. Once changed, it opens with SPSS software
Before executing all the syntax, you have to consider the address of the folder where the data file is located. The syntax file includes a first statement like this:
DATA LIST FILE = ‘DA3041″.
donde hay que añadir la ubicación del archivo de datos, por ejemplo:
DATA LIST FILE = ‘c:\datos\DA3041’.
Finally everything is selected, executed and saved the data file that is generated (CIS Document).
You can search for information about each study, your questionnaire and questions, series: http://datosbd.cis.es/ciswebconsultas/main.htm?locale=ca.

It is elaborated by the Center for Research and Trade Union Research of CCOO, wants to be a basic tool for the consultation and analysis of statistical data on economic, social and labor development of the European Union, time becomes a reference of character Comparative with respect to the Catalan reality. In short, its purpose is to provide a series of information and analysis at a time when, beyond economic convergence, the construction of Social Europe is found on all agendas of trade union organizations.
For the above reasons, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, is the basic source for the elaboration of the CCOO Social Eurobarometer of Catalonia. In this way, the maximum level of homogeneity and comparability of the information collected is ensured, since the treatment of the data provided by the different States of the European Union receives the same methodological treatment.
However, the lower development of regional statistics in the European Union does not always provide specific information at the level of Catalonia. This has involved, in certain cases, the subsidiary use of data obtained directly from the Statistics Institute of Catalonia (IDESCAT) and the National Statistics Institute (INE), which is indicated in the corresponding data. In these cases, the presence of some variations in the methodological criteria used may affect, albeit very slightly, the degree of comparability of these data.
