Anahí Huencho. Mapuche. State Professor in Mathematics, Universidad de la Frontera, Temuco, Chile. Master in Science Education with emphasis in Curriculum and Assesment, Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Ph.D. in Science Education, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Ph.D. researcher of the Center of Intercultural and Indigenous Research (CIIR). Coordinator of Chapter Chile, Red Latinoamericana de Etnomatemática RELAET.

She develops various investigations linked to intercultural mathematic education in the context of Mapuche people, Araucanía Region. Focus on raising teaching methods and ways to do mathematics associated with Mapuche people and their pertinent incorporation at the classroom.
