Josefa Rosa Marrero Rodríguez

Professor of Sociology at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain).
Most of the research activity has focused on the fields of sociology of work and the sociology of tourism. I have an index h in Google Scholar of 8.
I have been at the University for 28 years, and I have taught more than 10 different types of subjects (undergraduate, master’s and doctorate).
In the field of research, more than 20 publications, including an JRC paper and three SCOPUS papers. I have participated in several competitive research projects and I have been in some other Spanish and European universities.
Nowadays, I am the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication (University of La Laguna).
