Manuel González Mariscal

Manuel González Mariscal is an Hired Interim Doctor in the Department of Economics and Economic History of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Seville. He has a PhD in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and his PhD program: Modern and Contemporary Economic History of Spain. He also has a degree in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid. As for the teaching activity, he is Professor of Economic History in the Department of Economics and Economic History of the University of Seville (2008-2019). As a research activity, he is a Specialist in Modern Economic History of Western Andalusia (XVI-XIX centuries), and his lines of research are: the evolution of living standards from real wages; the history of prices; the history of food and consumption; monetary and financial history: bills of exchange and interest rates; agrarian history: agricultural production and land rent; and historical demography.
