Rachel Nayla Alfonso Olivera
Psychologist, Universidad de La Habana and master’s degree in Educational Psychology, from the same university. She is currently studying the PhD in Social Sciences at the Universidad de Chile. Professor of the Centro de Estudios para el Perfeccionamiento de la Educación Superior (CEPES) and the Faculty of Psychology, Universidad de La Habana, from 2007 to 2015. She has taught courses and workshops in Cuba, Bolivia and Mexico.
She is a researcher on issues of Gender and Social Psychology. Has done research on Gender and Science in conjunction with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has participated in international congresses and published about: gender, science and higher education.
She has eight years of experience in clinical psychology in the area of couple. She has been a consultant on gender inequalities for the Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) and the enterprise of Gestión del Conocimiento y la Tecnología (GECYT) en Cuba.
