Víctor Climent

Lecturer in the department of Sociology of Universitat de Barcelona and member of the Research Group CRIT (Creativity, Innovation and Urban Transformation), of the same university. His research interests are political structure of Advanced societies, labour market and impact of productive Systems on the environment. In all of them he has developed research projects and has published academic books and scientific articles. He has participated in different European and national projects, as well as in research agreements with public administrations. Moreover, he is head of department of Sociology in the University of Barcelona and member, since 2014 of the Governing Council of the university. He has been member of the Work, Economic and Social Council of Catalonia (2007-2014) and has participated in different negotiations in the Catalan and Spanish frameworks. He is member of the Catalan Sociological Association (ACS) and the Spanish Federation of Sociology (FES).
