Open admission by the year 2013 / 2014 of the European Master in Intermediterranean mediation: economic investment and Intercultural integration and the postgraduate diploma in communication, international cooperation and socio-cultural mediation in the Mediterranean (UAB).
In September 2013 will start the 11th edition of the Master MIM and 6th edition of the Postgraduate Diploma in Communication, International Cooperation and Cultural Mediation in the Mediterranean. The Master MIM is an interdisciplinary training program organised and taught jointly by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the Università Ca’ Foscari of Venice and the Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier 3. The master is itinerant, students study 3 months in each of the universities and, subsequently, made a period of professional practices in organizations, institutions or companies linked to the Mediterranean area. Well, the MIM students have the opportunity to train as mediators between the various cultural societies of the Mediterranean and acquire knowledge and skills of the sociopolitical and economic structure of the countries of the region. In 2010, MIM was recognized with a mention of Excellence awarded by the Office of the Mediterranean Youth. The languages of the Master are Spanish, French, Italian and English. Offer levels of Arabic language.
The diploma, for its part, is intended for the training of professionals who want to deal with the euro-mediterranean integration processes arising from the migration flows to the region and the intercultural contexts that have arisen as a result, where the international cooperation and the mediation play a key role. The Diploma offers students internships in organizations regulated Mediterranean area. Unlike the Master MIM, teaching is carried out in full of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
