Mónica Canabal Carbia received her BSc degree in Physics at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2020 and her MSc in Physics of the Light and Radiation at the USC in 2021. Her current thesis topic is framed in the field of polarization, studying the polarimetric response of biological tissue in light-matter interaction processes and developing polarimetric instrumentation and methods to be used in biomedical and botanical applications.
