After a fruitful first meeting in Athens, the Memory Route students from Spain, Greece and Italy are now heading to Krakow, Poland, to continue their journey of reshaping the narratives of women’s anti-totalitarian resistance in Europe.
Hosted by our partners at Villa Decius, the students will engage in the production of narrative games and share their experiences with the WIRE community.
On Friday 15 March at 18:30, there will be an open lecture on the history of Solidarity by Barbara Klich-Kluczewska, PHD from Jagiellonian University, followed by a meeting with Liliana Batko-Sonik – democratic opposition activist in the Polish People’s Republic.
The students will then take part in three sessions of the game scriptwriting workshop over the rest of the weekend. The results of these workshops will be presented at a gaming event at Villa Decius in September 2024, and will later be open to the public.
