EDUCATIONAL CHANGE THROUGH THE ARTS

In this line of research we understand that the presence of the arts in educational spaces can improve the learning of children and young people, as well as having an impact on educational organizations, creating more creative and critical educational spaces. In this line of work we design projects with the presence of professional artists in educational environments for a change in the educational institution, both school and university.

Specifically, in this line of research, we focus on addressing the following questions:

  1. how to encourage educational organizations to incorporate the arts in a central part of their structures to improve the learning processes of children and young people;
  2. how we can enhance and maintain the relations between the artistic field and the educational field in a sustainable way;
  3. how to influence the cloisters to incorporate the arts in the learning processes and in the redefinition of the center’s culture.
