We in EDO see ourselves as teachers and researchers interested in organisational development who share a common space in which individuals or groups can make proposals, plan activities and discuss processes and results. Our founding principles are as follows:

  • Collaboration. Members accept that working as a group has advantages and disadvantages, and believe that each individual project is best developed within a special interest group.
  • Autonomy. Members join special interest groups or groups conducting specific investigations, whether permanent or temporary. They may work independently, within the rights and obligations inherent in membership of EDO.
  • Cohesion. Individual members and groups agree to take part in general activities organised by EDO with the aim of promoting team spirit and synergies.
  • Solidarity. Individual members and groups share projects and ideas and support each other in regard to funding requests, resource management and the fulfilment of their commitments as members of EDO.
