PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN ORGANIZATIONS
Coordinator:
Diego Castro Ceacero

Organizations, by definition, are a group of people who collaborate and interact to achieve common goals. Therefore, people constitute a fundamental element of the functioning and improvement of organizations. Organizational development processes cannot be considered without this necessarily involving the personal and professional development of the people who make them up and give them meaning. This line of research not only theorizes about Professional Development, but tries to answer questions about current research and practice in this area, providing an analytical and critical perspective that guides the management and policies of Professional Development in organizations, thus improving its quality and efficiency.

Specifically, in this line of research, we focus on addressing the following questions:

  1. Knowledge Management
  2. Organizational Learning
  3. Social and informal learning in work environments
  4. Intergenerational learning in work environments
  5. Communities of practice
