Graduate in Sociology and Political Science, and in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Granada. She holds a doctorate in sociology from the University of Seville with a Cum Laudem qualification and mention of International Doctorate. She has worked at the University of Seville for 8 years and currently works as a PhD Assistant Professor at the Pablo de Olavide University.

She has published on intrinsic quality of work, with the construction of composite indices for its measurement, as well as on the emotional management of work and its link with satisfaction and well-being. Currently, her lines of research are framed in the analysis of labor quality and the division of labor with a gender perspective; the distribution of time and domestic work as a form of social stratification by gender; and the analysis of the sexual division of productive and reproductive labor.

Research projects:

She has participated in the Social Quality in Europe Project. Design and Construction of Composite Index for Measuring and Monitoring the Quality of European Societies, carried out at the University of Seville, with the publication of the book The Quality of European Societies. A compilation of Composite Indicators, co-authored in the Quality of Job chapter (Springer, 2019). She has participated in the International Network For Comparative Analysis of Social Inequalities (INCASI), carrying out two research stays at the Gino Germani Research Institute, at the University of Buenos Aires. She has participated in the Dynamics of Social Mobility in Spain (DINAMOS) project linked to the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). From January 2022 to August 2023 she has carried out a research stay at the Center d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) of the UAB. She currently participates in the INCASI II project.

External work experience:

As a professional activity outside the university, she has worked in several foundations and research centers. At the Forja XXI Foundation; for the Carles Pi I Sunyer Foundation in a project of the Local Government Observatory. She has worked for two years in the sociology area of the Centro de Estudios Andaluces Public Foundation. She has worked for the Andalusian Youth Institute on a request carrying out the 2011 Youth Report. He has participated in the latest social mobility study carried out by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia 2019, and in the Survey Project Social 2021
