
PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. Degree in Sociology and Master in Social Research at the same University. As part of a postdoctoral fellowship from CONICET, he completed a research stay and postgraduate seminars at the University of California, Berkeley to complete his academic training.
Associate Professor of Sociology at the UBA in the subjects: Methodology of Social Research (Sautu Chair) and Theory and methods for the analysis of social classes.. Professor at IDAES-UNSAM, currently teaching Thesis Workshop. He has given postgraduate seminars in the specialisation in Methods and Techniques of Social Research at CLACSO and at several national universities (UBA, IDAES, UNLP, UNJU). Director of the PISAC-Covid 19 085 project: ‘Programa de Investigación Regional Comparativa (PIRC): Cambios recientes en la estructura social argentina: trabajo, ingresos y desigualdad social en tiempos de pandemia y postpandemia’, and of PICT and UBACyT projects on social classes, stratification and social mobility. He has published articles in national and international journals including Research on Social Stratification & Mobility, Revista Internacional de Sociología, Desarrollo Económico, Papers, among others.
