
Susana Vázquez-Cupeiro is Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid. Besides being coordinator of the university master’s degree in Gender Studies (MEG), she co-directs the Research Group in Sociology of Education (GRISE). She is a member of the Feminist Research Institute (INSTIFEM) and the Institute of Sociology for the Study of Contemporary Social Transformations (TRANSOC). Her research focuses on the sociology of education and the sociology of gender. She has participated in numerous competitive, national and international investigations, and has been national coordinator of the European project Pioneering policies and practices tackling educational inequalities in Europe (H2020-SC6-TRANSFORMATIONS-2021/2024). Her most recent works have been published in Gender and Education, Critical studies of Education and Papers, as well as in prestigious publishers such as Ariel, Springer and Routledge, among others.
