
PhD in American History from the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville (UPO), Master in Latin American History from the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), Degree in Historical Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE; degree recognised in Spain as a Degree in Humanities by the UPO). Research work experience in the framework of projects developed by the UPO and the University of Seville in Spain, Colombia, Morocco, Bolivia, Ecuador and Costa Rica. She is currently Acting Substitute Professor in the Department of Sociology at the UPO. Member of the Group for the Study of Sociocultural Identities in Andalusia (GEISA, SEJ149) and of the History Commission of the Pan-American Institute of Geography and History (IPGH)-Ecuador Section. Her research interests are: migration processes; human trafficking and practices analogous to contemporary slavery; social intervention and community participation; domestic and care work; Latin American colonial history.
