Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Seville since 2008. She is a member of the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme in Economics, Business and Social Sciences at the University of Seville and visiting professor of the Master in Inclusive Education at the University of Cordoba and the Doctoral Programme in Migration at the University of Granada. Her lines of research focus on the study of social inequalities with immigrant populations, multiculturalism and racism, public policy analysis, gender studies and intersectionality. Within these lines of research she has directed national and international projects and published numerous articles, books and book chapters. She currently holds three six-year research fellowships from the CNEI (ANECA).
