Researcher in political sociology at the CNRS (France). Her main interests focus on migration policies, their implementation in border areas and their effects on exiles, in particular asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors. Using ethnographic methods, her studies try to shed light on the mechanisms that transform the circumvention of the law into ordinary practice. Annalisa is in charge of the Labo Junior Crésub – Creation and Subaltern Studies (funded by Labex SMS, 2022-2024), and as part of Incasi, she works on access to asylum and the relationship with law and justice of South American women human rights and environmental defenders. Annalisa coordinated the ANR DisPow (2018-2022 => https://dispow.hypotheses.org/), a collective project aiming to study the forms and effects of state discretionary power on three French borders: the French-British border; the French-Italian border; and the Basque border. She was also the French leader of the MiCREATE project – Migrant Children and Communities in a Transforming Europe (funded by the European Commission, H2020 Research and Innovation Program, Migration and Integration strand, January 2019 to June 2022.) 2022 => http://www.micreate.eu/).
