
Leandro Sepúlveda
Associate Professor at the Centre for Enterprise and Economic Development Research (CEEDR) at Middlesex University in England. Leandro obtained his PhD in economics from Durham University in the UK. Leandro has almost twenty years of research experience in the areas of enterprise, entrepreneurship and economic and social development. His most recent areas of research work include social inequalities in Europe and Latin America; self-employment, entrepreneurship and business start-up support programs and small business sector development in Europe; socio-economic impact of population diversity; and business clusters and public policy, with a focus on developing countries. Leandro has worked for different public agencies in England and other European countries such as the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC); and the European Commission through EQUAL and Horizon 2020. Leandro worked as an external consultant for the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC, United Nations) in Latin America.
