Abstract

This paper presents part of a study whose aim was to observe the interactivity between children from 2 to 8 years-old and the iPad app: “The Carnival of the animals”. Here we analyse the flow of two three-year-olds using the FIMA (Flow Indicators in Musical Activities) form as an analysis tool. Video recordings from the four data collection visits were watched and analysed twice for the final results. Results show that both children are in flow, especially when they discover the hidden activities that the app contains.
