He holds a PhD in Fine Art from the University of Barcelona, where he now lectures. As an artist he has had both solo exhibitions and participated in group shows in many art centres and galleries including 100Kubik (Cologne), Sis Galería (Sabadell), My Name’s Lolita Art (Valencia), T4 (Barcelona), ADN (Barcelona), Cyan Gallery (Barcelona) and Espais d’Art Contemporani (Girona). As a researcher he has participated in the pre-competitive project: Cartografías, Atlas y cosmogonias, the R&D projects of ECCART, APRIGART and ALST and has been a member of the research group Observatorio Didáctico de las Artes promoting innovative teaching in Fine Art. He has published articles on contemporary art in such journals as Estúdio, Papers d’Art, Aurora, ObservarEl process and BR:AC as well as in a number of art catalogues. He has been a guest researcher at the University of Lisbon and at Ar.Co, also in Lisbon.
