Chiara Gunella

Chiara Gunella holds a BA in Anthropology, Religions, and Oriental Civilisations, an MA in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) and she is now completing her PhD in Anthropology at the Universitat de Barcelona. Her expertise lies in participatory qualitative methodologies, with a focus on exploring the diverse needs of communities, particularly in social, artistic, and political expression, with an emphasis on marginalised groups.

At Transmedia, Chiara contributes to several projects: ALFIE, seeking to develop accessible, trustworthy, and unbiased AI systems; MOSAIC, aiming to create a multilingual, multimodal AI-based hub for the European media content market; SPICE, promoting sustainable public spaces through inclusive community engagement; and ClearClimate, focusing on ensuring accessible climate communication.

Previously, Chiara worked as a researcher and dissemination officer for various initiatives, including GreenSCENT aiming to make environmental education more accessible; So-Close using artistic tools to highlight the connections between historical and contemporary migration; MILE focusing on developing strategies for including migrants in policymaking and Hello Europe aiming to support migrant entrepreneurs around the world.

Abel Cobos Alcázar

Abel Cobos holds a BA in Journalism and a BA in Humanities, both from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, as well as an MA in Political and Social Communications from Blanquerna – Ramon Llull University.

Abel is part of the AccessCat Network, the Accessibility Innovation Network of Catalonia, serving as a Communications Specialist and a member of both the Board and the Executive Committee.

Carme Pratdesaba Orri

Carme Pratdesaba holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and an MA in Lexicography from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).

Carme is the promoter of the AccessCat Network, the Accessibility Innovation Network of Catalonia, led by TransMedia Catalonia main researcher Anna Matamala. Carme is also a member of both the Board and the Executive Committee of the network.
