José Saturnino Martínez García

Degree in CC. Political Science and Sociology (UCM), Master in Economics of Education (UCIII) and PhD in Sociology (UAM). He has been a fellow at the Universidad Complutense, Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas and the University of Salamanca; he was also a professor at both and at the University of La Laguna. He has done research stays at the universities of Wisconsin, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and several Spanish universities. Between 2007 and 2011 he was a vocal advisor to President Rodríguez Zapatero. Author of La equidad y la educación (2017) and Estructura social y desigualdad en España (2013). In addition, he has made reports or advised various institutions, such as the Ministry of Education, the Congress of Deputies, or Caritas. He collaborates with several media, such as ElDiario.es, El País, or Cadena Ser.
