Anitta Kynsilehto
She is an Associate Professor at the Peace Research Institute at the University of Tampere, Finland. Her research interests include global mobility, migration, social movements and solidarity action. She is also interested in postcolonial and decolonial perspectives, ethnographic methodology and the concept and use of intersectionality.
Her articles have been published in journals such as, Geopolitics, Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies, Environment and Planning A, Body and Society, and I am co-author of an article that is published in Spanish in the journal Relaciones Internationales. I am also co-author of two books, Gender and Mobility: A Critical Introduction (2017) and Choreographies of Resistance: Mobile Bodies and Relational Politics (2017) and serve as one of three editors-in-chief for the Finnish journal of peace and conflict studies and world politics Kosmopolis (2022-2025).
