Marta Arumí Ribas and Ruth León Pinilla, researchers from the MIRAS research group at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and researcher Pawel Korpal, from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), have jointly participated in a panel session during the ECIU 2026 University Forum, held on 16 and 17 June at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) under the theme “Futuremakers: Educating for Impact”.
The session, entitled “Emotions, Embodiment and Reflective Learning: Tools for Enhancing University Students’ Well-being” and in which León Pinilla and Korpal participated, has focused on how emotions, embodiment and reflective learning can become key tools to improve the well-being of university students.
The ECIU 2026 Forum, organized by the European Consortium of Innovative Universities, brought together students, faculty, research staff and social agents from the entire ECIU university network in Aveiro this year, with the aim of exploring how education can generate a real and transformative impact on society.
