TransMedia Catalonia, TraDiLex and Kudwa have been accepted as a participant in the Setmana de la Ciència (Catalan Science Week) with an upcoming webinar titled “Educational and Political Spaces for All”. This online webinar is scheduled for November 13, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During this event, we will explore the outcomes of two significant projects: MILE and UNIVAC. The primary objective of this webinar is to present guidelines for improving the accessibility of both digital and physical educational and political spaces.

  • The MILE project (AMIF-2020-AG-CALL-03 101038364) focuses on migrant inclusion in policymaking, striving to identify best practices and guidelines to enhance accessibility for migrants in political and participatory spaces, both online and offline. This study covers four EU countries and offers insights relevant to the broader EU context. During the webinar we will unveil the results alongside guidelines for creating accessible political spaces for everyone, whether online or offline.
  • UNIVAC (ref. TED2021-130926A-I00) is a Spanish ministry project assessing accessibility needs in higher education for people with sensory disabilities (university students, administrative staff and lecturers). For this event, Univac will explore the challenges and strengths related to providing accessible education within the Metaverse.

These initiatives are dedicated to the goal of fostering inclusivity in both digital and physical spaces.

The activity is promoted by the transfer network AccessCat (2021XARDI00007), funded by the Catalan Government.
