    • To maintain and enlarge the ArnauDB database, created with the first project mentioned above and developed with the following two ones. This database contains information on documents by or relating to Arnau de Vilanova, manuscripts and old editions of his medical and spiritual works, and bibliography. So far, entries for 1400 studies, 380 documents, and 300 manuscripts have been added. Over the next four years, this information will be expanded by approximately 1/4. These data, when reviewed and contrasted, will be open.
    • To study some relevant manuscripts in order to prepare the critical edition of the works described below, and to enlarge the ArnauDB database.
    • To publish the critical edition of the following works:
      • Philosophia catholica et divina. In this work Arnau de Vilanova proposes to the highest authorities (King, Pope and the College of Cardinals) a plan to reform the Church and Society. The edition will be prepared with the criteria of the Arnaldi de Villanova Opera Theologica Omnia (Institut d’Estudis Catalans, UAI, Corpus Philosophorum Medii Aevi).
      • Regimen podagre. This book is one of the first consilium’ of medieval medicine and is devoted to analyzing foot gout (podagra). This edition will be prepared with the criteria of the Arnaldi de Villanova Opera Medica Omnia (UB, CSIC, Fundació Noguera). In addition, translation into Spanish will be offered.
      • Comentum super quasdam Parabolas: Prepare a new critical edition of this work, based on recently discovered manuscripts that offer a more complete and improved text. This edition will be developed following the criteria of the Arnaldi de Villanova Opera Medica Omnia (UB, Fundació Noguera).
      • Three commentaries attributed to Arnau de Vilanova on Regimen acutorum by Hippocrates. If their authorship is confirmed, their publication will be proposed to the Arnaldi de Villanova Opera Medica Omnia (UB, Fundació Noguera).
    • To study linguistically the five spiritual works written by Arnau de Vilanova. In addition to the intrinsic value that a study of these characteristics may have (because of its novelty), it could also provide interesting information about the Sitz im Leben of Arnau de Vilanova, as well as the basis of a future critical edition of these works.
    • Study on the survival of Arnau de Vilanova. Nicolás Antonio.
