PhD in Communication Studies (UAB), DEA in European Studies, Graduate in International Relations (UB) and Bachelor in Journalism (UAB).
She is a researcher in Media Systems (global and supranational) and in Media Policy (European Union and Latin America). She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Leeds (UK), at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) (US), at SMIT-IBBT of Vrjie Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) and at the City University of New York (CUNY, USA).
She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Communication Studies. She has been a guest lecturer in several Spanish and international universities.
She has professional experience in the audiovisual sector and she has been a consultant in corporate and strategic communications.
