Teaching
The OIC’s researchers teach at undergraduate degrees in Communication and Social Sciences (Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising and Public Relations…). The preferred areas of teaching are found mainly in the field of Theory, Structure and Communication Policy.
In graduate studies (Master and Doctorate), OIC researchers coordinate specialized modules on ‘Media systems and Communications Policy’, in European affairs, Latin America and emerging countries. National and international students participate every academic year in these teaching areas, working in their Master or PhD dissertations.
The OIC faculty offers courses and seminars as visiting scholars at several Spanish, European and Latin American universities.
The OIC has a special concern for teaching methodologies applied to the autonomous learning and skills development. In this sense, there have been several studies and reports on this topic.
