Grupo de Investigaciones sobre la Información
The Research Group on Information (GII in Spanish) is affiliated to the Ibero-American Observatory of Communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Its members are faculty professors from two Spanish universities: the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Marcial Murciano, Carmina Crusafon, Olga Del Rio, Carlos Gonzalez and Fernando Sabés) and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Pinar Agudíez, Rafael Diaz, Ramon Garcia, Raquel Martínez, Sergio Príncipe and Elena Real). The GII has experience in the study of the coverage of cooperation development in the European elite press and collaborates with the international news agency, Inter Press Service (IPS), and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development.
