The Llegim en parella school Network was established in 2006 by the Research Group on peer learning (Grup d’Investigació sobre Aprenentatge entre Iguals, GRAI). It is a semi-online network with a dual aim: to provide teacher training and to facilitate peer support conditions for developing the programme; and to guarantee a certain level of success in learning to enable participants to innovate in a sustainable way witch facilitate the programme incorporation into the common repertoire of the school involved. For this reason, the teacher training is carried out in pairs, inter and intra schools, because it is an important element for learning, facilitating collaborative and reflective tools throughout the training and implementation of the programme. Thus, the teacher training is carried out by two trainers (preferably) who work together organizing, managing and stimulating the network.

Three training sessions are dedicated to present the program, to give support during the implementation and to follow up the final assessment. The training is combined with a virtual participation in a platform in order to share with other teachers: information, questions, reflections, implementation schedule, visits to the other schools, sharing reviews and all actions that have to do with the programme.

There are schools networks working collaboratively in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Zaragoza and Euskadi, in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and Euskera.
