Lídia Arumí graduated with honors in Translation and Interpreting (Catalan-English-French) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2011). She holds an MA in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies (speciality: Translation and Intercultural Studies) by the same university (2012).

She was scholarship assistant at Càtedra Jordi Arbonès (2010-2011) and scholarship researcher in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She was also lecturer in Introduction to Technologies of Translation and Interpreting (2011-2012), for exchange students, and in Translation A-A (Catalan-Spanish/Spanish-Catalan) (2012-2013) at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at UAB.

Her research interest focuses on the history of translation and the translation of literary texts. She studies the post-war theatrical translation and its language models, based on the work of the translator from Reus Bonaventura Vallespinosa i Salvat. Member of GETCC since April 2012 to August 2013.
