Translation and exile

 

Thanks in particular to the documentation provided by the Arbonès collection, the group has been studying the possibility of research in a field which, until now, seemed rather neglected. Montserrat Bacardí has written the first general analysis in “La traducció catalana a l’exili” (Catalan translation in exile), as well as studying the translations of Agustí Bartra, Francesc Arnó, Anna Murià and Ramon Xuriguera; Ramon Farrés has written about the translations of Jordi Arbonès and Antoni Pous; Judit Fontcuberta, the translations of Joan Oliver; Francesc Parcerisas, the translations of Carles Riba; and Dolors Udina has studied the translations of Anna Murià and Josep Palau i Fabre.
