EDCD-TEP will articulate these four subdimensions (value; examine; imagine and act) to make explicit and practical recommendations on how CDC could be better embedded in primary teacher education programmes. Our purpose is to provide guidelines on how the democratic culture dimension could be considered in initial teacher education and to illustrate such guidelines with the production of different resources for pre-service and in-service teachers. We understand that EDCD-TEP explicitly responds to Council of Europe’s (2017) request on the need of innovating primary initial teacher education programmes. 

EDCD-TEP subdimensions will be considered transversally in our plan of action which includes: 

1. International seminars. 

2. National workshops. 

3. Bank of resources.

4. EDCD-TEP conference.
